Normal condoms too small but durex XL?

Hi I have a problem. Normal condoms (durex, mates etc.) fit...but create pressure which is sometimes painful and makes my go very red (basically cutting off circulation) so doesn't feel as good. I was wondering if I should go for durex XL, but my is 21cm long and very thick, and on the specs for XLs it's says they are 21.5cm long, is this at full stretch or what? Would love some help thanks!
