What is my best alternative to the wii? Is there a system that is kid friendly, with RPG games for daddy?

I own a PS3 and used to own a Wii (sold it on ebay cause it does stink). I would say the XBOX isn't very kid friendly because it is a lot of shooting games. Plus, the PS3 is better. It lasts longer, has better graphics, has games for everyone, and it plays Blu-Ray. 2 game types that are very fun for kids that I played (I'm a teenager) are Ratchet & Clank and LittleBigPlanet (there are 2 R&T and 2 LBP on PS3). I think that the PS3 is overall better is better for young kids. But if you are really looking for something cheap, a GameCube is very kid friendly but is out dated. If you want something new, you have to go with a PS3.
