MN felony gun rights after cival rights restored?
I was convicted of a crime of voilence (Felony) this is the only thing I have on my record. My civil rights were restored and it says I have full right to vote, hold office and to full citizenship, however its a little hazy as to whether I can own a pistol, or rifle. What do you think? If I need a relief of disability from the attorney General where online can I get an application? Please serious answers only... I may not have the right to own one from my crime but the way 99.9% of the way people see it is its my 2nd amendment (RIGHT) not privelage to own one.especially since I served my time and have been restored all civil rights according to my discharge which should include gun ownership. Thanks for any info or good online sites which can give more info. I have already looked up most of the NRA and ATF sites.
